Wednesday, September 19, 2007 Have nots cry, while the rich get TV shows POST A COMMENT IN: "Gossip Girl," 'bout spoiled rich kids in New York -- which could be a spotlight on the increasing "Have" versus "Have Not" divide in America -- on that show -- 'can't really say if we are "laughing-with" or "laughing-at"...but hey, it makes for good TV: "numerous studies have demonstrated in recent years, income gains over the last few decades have been heavily concentrated at the very top of the income distribution." -- 'sounds like the "haves" are laughing all the way to their expanding trust-fund accounts.
