NBC’s sells shows on Apple’s iTunes Store at $1.99 per episode; contract comes up for renewal 2. NBC tries to re-negotiate with Apple asking $4.99 per episode; Apple refuses to budge on price 3. Negotiation goes public; NBC hoped “the people” would side with them, forcing Apple to concede 4.
